To be frank, there aren’t many options when it comes to pretty pregnant outfits. The shops mostly feature preggy collections in dark shades and loose shapes. That’s why it becomes so challenging to find something appropriate that both fits and looks good.

A vintage Gingham pattern is commonly used for men’s shirts. The print can create optical illusions by correcting the body shape. In my case, it’s pretty much useless as my bump is way too big now. But the flirty flared dress still delivers retro-chic style. There are also frills on the shoulders that go down the slides. They may add extra volume to the silhouette, but I still love how charming they look. This dress will definitely be included in my post-pregnant line of clothes (I already have several ideas how to style it)!

Винтажная клетка под названием Gingham (гингем, гинхам, или виши) чаще встречается в мужских рубашках. Такой мелкий принт способен создавать оптические иллюзии, корректируя фигуру. Но не в моем случае, когда живот уже ну о-о-очень большой. Не знаю, насколько уместно надевать подобное платье с воланами по всей длине, которые явно добавляют объемы, но мне эта вещь очень понравилась в магазине. Может потому, что я уже знаю, как буду носить это платье в своем «нормальном» теле?
